ID Johnson wears many hats: mother, wife, teacher, editor, tutu maker, and writer, to name a few. Some of her favorite people are the two little girls who often implore that she "watch me!" in the middle of forming finely crafted sentences, that guy who dozes off well before she closes her laptop, and those furry critters at the foot of the bed at night. If she could do anything in the world, she would live in Cinderella's castle and write love stories all day while sipping Dr. Pepper and eating calorie-less Hershey's kisses. For now, she'll stick to her Dallas-area home and the 500 smiling faces of the students she calls her "kids." She plans to write the next book in The Clandestine Saga and the first book in The Chronicles of Cassidy in 2016.
Her first non-fiction book, The Journey to Normal: Our Family's Life With Autism, is a true story of how the author's daughter has overcome the constraints of autism and has grown into a bubbly, bright, highly verbal seven year old.
Johnson published her first book in 2014, Deck of Cards, a medieval romance with lots of twists and turns. This debut was followed closely by the epic Civil War novel Cordia's Will. Both can be purchased at Amazon in ebook and paperback formats.
Recently, Johnson embarked on The Clandestine Saga books, three of which, Transformation, Resurrection, and Repercussion, are available on Amazon. If you like paranormal with a touch of romance, you'll love reading about vampire hunter Cadence and the Guardians who protect humans from rogue vampires.
If you like interesting and unexpected, check out The Doll Maker's Daughter at Christmas, a unique look at dyslexia at the turn of the twentieth century. Johnson also takes us back in time to the Edwardian period and the fateful voyage of the Titanic in Ghosts of Southampton, her newest novel now available exclusively on Amazon.

Some loves are powerful enough to defy centuries. I never liked Gavin. He’s arrogant, irritating, and somehow always manages to get under my skin. The last person I would ever want to be stuck with. Then we both fall through time. Now we’re trapped in a dangerous kingdom centuries in the past, forced to survive by pretending to be royal siblings in...
Some loves are powerful enough to defy centuries. I’m a woman from the twenty-first century—but I wake up in 1817, trapped in the heart of the Regency ton, wearing another woman’s name, her gowns, and her future. Pretending to be Emmaline Beaumont was supposed to be temporary. Then I met Charles Langford. He’s honorable, intelligent, devastatingly...
History is written in ink. But some love stories are written across time. Jake I wasn’t supposed to stay in 1875. I was just passing through—trying to survive long enough to get back to my own century. Then I met Joanna Calloway. She’s strong, stubborn, and far too brave for a world that chews up women like her. Falling for her was never part of the...
